Do you accept custom orders?

I do not accept custom orders at this time.

What kind of clay do you use?

I use a creamy white clay that has a smooth porcelain texture.

What kind of glazes do you use?

I use a combination of dipping/pouring and brush-on glazes, including underglazes.  All of the glazes I use are lead free.

Can you tell me about your process?

All of my pieces are either hand built, wheel thrown, or a combination of both.  They are initially fired (bisque-fired) to 1888 degrees and are then ready for glaze application.  Once glazed, they are fired to 2200 degrees.

Is your pottery food safe?

All of my pieces are food, dishwasher, microwave and oven safe to 425 degrees. When using your piece in the oven, do not place it in a pre-heated oven as this could cause thermal shock.  Instead, place in the oven at the time you set your oven to pre-heat.
